I'm a co-owner and Senior Software Engineer of Ceetron AS. I started working at Ceetron back in 2006 after 6 years in Kongsberg Simrad/Maritime. I hold a B.Sc. in Real Time Programming from Buskerud University College, Kongsberg and a M.Sc in Graphics, VR and Animation from Narvik University College. I've always had special interests in 3D graphics and multi-platform development ranging from gaming consoles to desktop and mobile devices. Andres Rodriguez-Villa

I have recently joined Ceetron as senior software developer. I hold an M. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from UCL (Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium), and a Ph.D. in Material Science from the Ecole des Mines de Paris (Sophia Antipolis. France). All of my previous career took place in a spin-off of Ecole des Mines, a Ceetron client, which has now become a world-leading editor in the FEA field of material forming simulation (forging, casting, injection molding, …) During this period, I held various positions ranging from developer to software engineering director, in which I gained significant experience in the development of both solver and GUI modules of FEA packages. I currently operate from Ceetron’s Sophia Antipolis office and am a natural contact for our French customers and prospects. Beyond my professional activities, I am involved in promoting international education in an association. Being both American and Spanish – and living in France – the subject is important to me and I enjoy volunteering to enhance the next generation’s linguistic skills.
